Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park provides close encounters with Victoria Falls. You will find steep gorge trails and a mist-filled bridge.
The Zambian side of Victoria Falls holds about 25% of the total viewpoints. The park gates open daily from 06:00 to 18:00. The international entry fee is US$20 as of 2026.
Water flow heavily dictates the experience here. High water season means you will get soaked on the trails. The dry season from mid-August to December exposes the rock face and allows access to Devil's Pool.

This spectacular footbridge hangs directly over the gorge. It takes you right through the heavy mist created by the plunging water. You will get completely drenched during the high water season. Wear a lightweight waterproof jacket to stay dry.
1 hourSteep gorge trail
A steep trail leads down to the bottom of the Batoka Gorge. Here, you can watch the churning river waters meet. The hike back up is strenuous and requires comfortable walking shoes. Watch out for baboons along the trail, and never feed them.

This natural infinity pool sits directly on the lip of the falls. You reach it via guided boat tours from the Zambian side. The pool is typically only open during the dry season from mid-August to December. Advance booking is strictly required.
